Hello everyone,
We are getting some rain here today and
the garden is looking so lush now. The beds
are really starting to fill now.
All around the Island apple trees are in
blossom and the lilacs are coming
into bloom as well as azaleas...
such a pretty time of the year!
I am sharing a few bouquets with
you today. I love the pitcher in the
one above. I bought it in Florida a
few years ago..
i
The hyacinths look pretty in this
antique pitcher bought on a trip to
Maine.
Tiny carnations in polka dot containers.
This is an older photo showing some of the
different varieties of lilacs in our garden.
Our lilacs are just coming into bloom now so when the
rain stops I can finally pick my first bouquet of the
season.
I love all the different varieties of lilacs.
The old teapot was a yardsale find as
well as the teacup.
Beautiful!
Such delicate work!
Last fall Nobuo Sugino came to visit us twice and
gave us a copy of his beautiful book.
A few images from his book.

I am so happy to be able to pick flowers from the
garden again for little bouquets around the house.

He also gave us this beautiful photo with dried pansies
made from a photo he took in our guest room upstairs.
On the bedside table was a photo of our Lucas and the
covered dish and bowl which he used for the pansies and
brought it back to us a few weeks later from Japan.
~Scatter Seeds of Happiness~
I am looking forward to going to the show on Saturday
I have a couple of tours on Sunday so I can't make it
to the workshop but I am sure you would enjoy it!
