Garden Mosaic Monday

                                                                                     Hello everyone,

                                                                    Hope you are had a lovely weekend ~
                                                                   we enjoyed a lovely picnic style lunch
                                                                   on the porch with all our family this
                                                                   weekend......a summer celebration.

                                                                 One foggy morning a couple of
                                                                 weeks ago.

                                                                             These shots were taken in our garden
                                                                             on the weekend. The peonies and roses
                                                                             are blooming.

                                                                 These photos were taken back when I first
                                                                 started blogging ~ it is still one of my
                                                                 favorite summer picnic shots.

                                                               

                                                                        These were taken just a couple of weeks
                                                                        ago but now the Miss Canada lilac needs
                                                                        to be deadheaded but the Japanese lilac behind
                                                                        it is in full bloom and wonderfully scented.
                                                                        I love that when something is past there is
                                                                        something new to take it's place until the
                                                                        end of the season.

                                                        Beautiful tall breaded iris are still in bloom
                                                                  here.

                                                                  I am off to the garden to tend to a few chores
                                                                  and then I think I should pick a few new bouquets
                                                                  to enjoy indoors.
